Wheelchair Rugby League

If you play wheelchair sports or if you like rugby then you should try, at least once, wheelchair rugby league. It's fast and furious and is played to rugby league rules. It's a summer sport, so games won't interfere with the basketball season. A league is starting in AprilDisibility Rugby League or May 2010. Sports wheelchairs are available.

 

Anyone can play, children and adults. All you need is the upper body strength to push a wheelchair. For more information please ring Paul at Jigsaw on 0161 2536306 or email jigsaw@bury.gov.uk.

Are you a wheelchair user in Bolton or the surrounding areas? Do you want to give basketball a go? Then come and join the Bolton Bulls Wheelchair basketball club on Thursday nights between 8.30pm and 10.30pm at Smithills Sports Centre.

 

Whether you are disabled or able bodied, wheelchair basketball is an all inclusive sport.  Everyone is welcome, so come along, join us and give it a try.
